Soccer Expansion

"Vancouver, which starts play in 2011, will be the seventh expansion team in 2005 for this rapidly-growing league. Ottawa, Portland and St. Louis are all candidates for the other expansion spot that season, although Portland appears to be the runaway leader.
And Garber expects two more in 2012, so those of you holding out for Barcelona to revisit Miami or the Wilpons to recovery from all the loot Bernie Madoff made off with and buy in can keep hoping."

Man kind of excited that Vancouver got picked for an MLS expansion

Canucks Highlights

Tickets

has anyone noticed that it has been much harder for them to have sold out games for the Canucks. I'm actually surprised that there are quite a few tickets for sale for the upcoming games for the next few weeks. Maybe its just me but man the economy has been stinking it up

Will the Cancuks be a contender for the Stanley Cup?

Definitely been talking to a lot of sport buffs and the answer i've gotten from a lot of them is NO!

Pretty much a straight out No to tell you the truth. Well they pretty much have every reason to believe this since the Canucks have never ever won a Stanley Cup and the only time we were close was in 1994 and that turned out ugly when we lost. I mean we have added players such as Mat Sundin to our roster however for the amount of money that we need to keep him just for this year and the stats that he is putting up i am pretty much gotta say that he was not worth the money

Upcoming Schedule for Vancouver Canucks

i see that the the canucks have been having trouble selling some of their tickets. I guess the economy has been pretty bad as of late

The next game is this Sunday or well today at 4pm and they are facing the Blackhawks which are standing at 4th place atm

If we beat them it'll definitely solidify our ranking in the playoff spots

I guess the Canucks are OK

Well the Canucks were decent tonight although it was pretty slow at the start but after the first period they picked up the steam and won 4 to 1.

Daniel and Henrik Sedin were incredible tonight with a goal/ assist that helped solidify the canucks win over the Avalanche yesterday. Mats was also amazing with two assists which put an end to the canucks losing streak.

Vancouver Canucks in a Rut

Damn i mean seriously how could the canucks be soo bad that they had their own player score on themselves. This is rather annoying since i really hate their abysmal playing as of late

Goaltending by roberto luongo has been average to tell you the truth and i can tell that ever since the injury he had 2 months ago he hasn't been up to speed and has let some pretty easy goals in.
